NSA falls to Trinity Episcopal

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ basketball team took its first loss of the season Wednesday evening.
The Lady Saints are now 2-1 on the year after a 64-55 loss to Trinity Episcopal on the road. Trinity Episcopal jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter, going up 16 points. Even though the Lady Saints found ways to close the gap throughout the game, Trinity Episcopal was able to hold off the Lady Saints.
Alivia Giles led the way with 17 points and 18 rebounds. Cammy Reid added 13 points while McKinlee Goodloe added 12.
NSA will host Norfolk Academy on Tuesday.
