Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• George Rennie, junior, Suffolk Christian Academy basketball: Rennie scored 23 points in a Knights win over Lawrence Academy.
• Leonta Johnson, senior, King’s Fork High School football: Johnson threw for 196 yards and two touchdowns in a Bulldogs playoff win.
• Brent Stratton, senior, Nansemond River High School football: Stratton rushed for 170 yards and a touchdown in a Warriors playoff win.
