Two men were injured in a single-vehicle crash late Monday.
The crash in the 1800 block of Nansemond Parkway was reported at 11:29 p.m., according to a city press release. The passenger vehicle left the roadway, struck a power pole and landed in the yard of a residence.
The driver and passenger were treated by Suffolk Fire & Rescue for injuries not considered life-threatening, the press release stated. One was airlifted by Nightingale, and the other was taken by ground ambulance to a hospital for treatment.
Nansemond Parkway was closed for several hours while Dominion Energy crews removed power lines from across the roadway and replaced the damaged power pole.
