The King’s Fork High School football team was shut out by Deep Creek High School on Friday.
The Bulldogs didn’t play their best football when they went on the road and took on a tough Deep Creek team. Deep Creek had come into the game with only two losses, and King’s Fork was coming off of a win. However, Deep Creek proved to be too much as they trounced the Bulldogs 42-0.
Deep Creek controlled the game, jumping out to 21-0 lead over the Bulldogs in the first half. In the second half, the Bulldogs still couldn’t get much going, as Deep Creek extended its lead.
The loss drops the Bulldogs to 3-6 on the year. With one more game left, the Bulldogs will try to make a last push to acquire a spot in the Class 4 Region A bracket. They will take on Grassfield High School to finish the regular season at home.
