Four adults and two children are in stable condition after a single-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened about 2:35 p.m. on eastbound Route 58 just prior to the landfill, according to a city press release.

All six occupants were taken to local hospitals. The city originally announced there were four occupants, three of whom were critically injured. However, it later updated its statement to four adults and two children.

All lanes of the road were reopened at 4:03 p.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
