Gas station robbed

Suffolk Police are investigating a robbery of the Murphy Oil gas station in the 1200 block of North Main Street that happened early Tuesday.
The robbery was reported at 5:48 a.m., according to a city press release. Preliminary investigation found that a black male subject wearing a mask and hoodie displayed a handgun and demanded money. He fled on foot after receiving money and cigarettes.
There were no injuries.
