Sonya “Salbug” Christine Franklin, 58, of Forrest Oak Lane, Suffolk, transitioned Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019, at her residence. A celebration of life will be held at noon, Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019, at Balm Church East Campus, 525 E. Washington St. Bishop A.S. Hall will deliver the message of comfort. She will be laid to rest in the C.W. Ash section of Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
