Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Halle Fago, sophomore, Nansemond River High School field hockey: Fago had a hat trick in the Lady Warriors’ win over Indian River High School.

Drew Bergeron, senior, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy football: Bergeron had a three-touchdown performance against Portsmouth Christian that included two rushing and an interception return.

Blaine Dorough, sophomore, Suffolk Christian Academy soccer: Dorough scored two goals in the Knights’ win over Oaktree Academy.

Natouris Knight, senior, King’s Fork High School football: Knight added a receiving touchdown and an interception in a win over Lakeland High School.
