Saints football gets first win

The Saints got their first win of the season with a 42-22 win over Portsmouth Christian School.
After beginning the season with a four-game losing streak, the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy football team earned its first win of the season last Friday at home. Portsmouth Christian came into the game at 3-1.
NSA got strong performance from Drew Bergeron, who totaled three touchdowns, two offensive and the other defensive. Christian Townsend, Jaden Freeman and Simon Dowd all added scores for the Saints. The Saints had been on the verge of a win after their last four losses had come by a combined 20 points.
The Saints will look to continue winning against Atlantic Shores Christian School at home Friday.
