The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ tennis team came in at No. 5 in the latest state poll.
The Lady Saints tennis team is currently 5-3 on the season. They are scheduled for three games this week and so far have split the two they’ve played.
NSA took a 9-0 sweep win over Peninsula Catholic High School Tuesday afternoon, with Anne-Perry Harrell winning the clinching match for the team win.
Two of the Lady Saints’ three losses came by one point to very tough opponents.
