Lady Warriors win fifth straight

The Nansemond River High School girls’ volleyball team won its fifth straight game Monday night on the road
The Lady Warriors volleyball team is 5-0 on the season after picking up a district win against Indian River High School. It took four sets, but Nansemond River was able to come out victorious, 3-1.
DeAndra Moore had 17 kills for the Lady Warriors. Alexa Lyons added nine kills, and Taylor Keese and Meghan Miniard had five aces. It was a total team effort for the Lady Warriors, who are hoping to extend their streak to six games this Thursday, when they return home to face Deep Creek High School.
