Lady Saints tennis loses close match

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ tennis team lost to Norfolk Christian in a close match Monday afternoon.
The Lady Saints fell 5-4 to a tough Norfolk Christian team at the Old Dominion University Folkes Stevens tennis center. Norfolk Christian is the reigning Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II champion.
NSA did take two of three doubles matches. The last singles match went to a third-set tiebreaker to decide the team winner. Kayla Kosiorek was a double winner in singles and doubles for NSA.
NSA will face Virginia Episcopal School at home Friday.
