Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Rebecca Hutchings, sophomore, King’s Fork High School golf: Hutchings shot a score of 80 in win over rival Lakeland High School.

DeAndra Moore, junior, Nansemond River High School volleyball: Moore had more than 15 kills in two wins for the Lady Warriors, including a win over rival Lakeland High School.

Teshun Pierre, senior, Lakeland High School volleyball: Pierre had 17 kills and five blocks in a Lakeland win over Booker T. Washington High School.
