The Lady Warriors volleyball team went to 3-0 with a win over Oscar Smith High School at home Tuesday night.

The Nansemond River High School girls’ volleyball team has gotten off to a strong start through the early part of the season. The Lady Warriors matched up with Oscar Smith for its second district matchup and took a 3-0 win. In their three losses, they have yet to lose a set.

DeAndre Moore had ten kills while Alexa Lyons added 17 digs. Meghan Miniard had 16 serves, and Skylar Scott had three blocks.

Nansemond River will have a chance to go to 2-0 against their rivals when they take on Lakeland High School at home Thursday evening. Nansemond River picked up a 3-0 win against King’s Fork High School during the first week of the season.
