Possible robbery attempt investigated

Suffolk Police are seeking the public’s assistance following a possible attempted robbery at the ABC store in the 3500 block of Bridge Road on Tuesday.
According to a city press release, Emergency Communications was contacted Tuesday about the incident, which occurred at 8:49 p.m.
A subject, believed to be a male, dressed in all black clothing and wearing a ski mask entered the business at that time, the press release stated.
“Nothing was stolen; however, it is believed the intent was to rob the clerk on duty,” the press release stated.
The masked person fled in a sedan, possibly silver or gray in color.
