Gov. Ralph Northam recently announced that two Suffolk residents have been appointed to university boards of visitors.

Raymond Willis Jr., chief executive officer of Heritage Development Partners LLC, has been appointed to the Christopher Newport University Board of Visitors.

Louis S. Haddad, president and chief executive officer of Armada Hoffler Properties, has been appointed to the Board of Visitors for the University of Virginia and affiliated schools.
