UPDATE: Valentino Lopez has been safely located, according to a city news release and his father’s Facebook page.

Earlier: Suffolk Police are seeking the public’s assistance locating a missing teen.

Valentino Lopez, 15, was last seen on Friday leaving King’s Fork High School before the start of school, according to a city press release.

Valentino is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall, with a slim build, black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black corded necklace with a Puerto Rican flag and a machete charm, the press release stated.

He was also wearing an orange and reddish striped shirt with a hint of gray, blue jeans and gray Nike high-top shoes, with a blue rain jacket and carrying a black bookbag.
