The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ soccer team finished its regular season with four players on the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools conference teams.
The Lady Saints finished another strong regular season this year. Heading into the state tournament, they have a 13-3-3 record. NSA had two players on the first team and two on the second team.
Alivia Giles and Camryn King headline the first team All-TCIS team. Hannah Wolfe and Mallory Mizelle were both second-team selections. Giles was among the leading scorers in the area this season, while every other Lady Saint was able to put on strong performances throughout the season.
With the state tournament starting tomorrow, the Lady Saints will look to pick up where they left off last season, which was in the state championship game. NSA advanced all the way to the big game before falling to Highland School the No. 1 seed last season. As the No. 3 seed this year, NSA has a strong chance to return back to the big game.
It will all start at home Wednesday at 5 p.m.
