Six displaced in fire

An early-morning fire on Monday displaced five adults and one child from their home.
The fire in the 2300 block of Juniper Lane was reported at 2:13 a.m., according to a city press release. The first units arrived on scene at 2:21 a.m. and found heavy fire showing from the attic.
The fire was marked under control at 3:22 a.m., the press release stated. No injuries were reported.
The residents will be assisted by the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
