Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Noah Boone, sophomore, Lakeland High School baseball: Boone struck out 10 in the Cavs’ win over Deep Creek High School.
• Douglas Hill, junior, Nansemond River High School soccer: Hill scored two goals this week, including a game-tying goal and a game-winner.
• Alex Feeney, junior, Suffolk Christian Academy baseball: Feeney had a home run in the Knights’ matchup against Xavier High School.
