Bulldogs fall to Hornets

The King’s Fork High School baseball team fell 6-1 to Deep Creek High School Friday evening.
The Bulldogs were unable to get much going in the matchup with Deep Creek. Deep Creek went up 3-0 in the first inning and was as much as 5-0 before the Bulldogs scored their first and only run in the fifth inning.
The last matchup was a battle between the two, with Deep Creek winning in a close 10-9 game. King’s Fork had seven hits compared to Deep Creek’s three. Jacolby Boyd was 2-3 with five other Bulldogs having hits.
