Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Baxley Lockhart, senior, King’s Fork High School softball: Lockhart went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a home run in a Lady Bulldogs win.
• Myaisa Pareno, junior, Lakeland High School soccer: Pareno had a hat-trick in a Lady Cavs win over Booker T. Washington High School.
• Kaitlyn Brittingham, senior, Suffolk Christian Academy soccer: Brittingham scored two goals in an SCA win over Gateway Christian.
