Police investigate robbery

Suffolk Police are investigating a robbery that happened at a Verizon store on Wednesday.
The robbery was reported at 7:15 p.m. at the store in the 1000 block of Centerbrooke Lane off Godwin Boulevard, according to a city press release.
Preliminary investigation found that two black males, dressed in all black with hoodies and ski masks, robbed the clerk and fled on foot with an undetermined amount of currency, the press release stated. There were no injuries.
Police released surveillance photos to the public hoping for assistance in identifying the robbers.
