The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy boys’ lacrosse team opened the season in North Carolina with a couple of non-conference games.

The Saints took on St. David School first and fell 10-6 Thursday evening. They had a chance to bounce back and did against Northwood High School Friday evening. NSA took the win 9-8 in a close game that came down to the wire. Will Wren scored the game-winning goal with 21 seconds remaining. He led the way with three goals, while Simon Dowd added two goals and five assists.

The Saints will have their first home game of the season on Wednesday when they take on First Flight High School.
