Dr. Ayham Deeb, a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist, recently joined Virginia Oncology Associates.

Before joining VOA, Deeb completed a medical oncology and hematology fellowship at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He completed his internal medicine residency at Western Reserve Health Education/Northeast Ohio Medical University in Youngstown, Ohio, where he served as chief resident.

Deeb remains a proponent of academics and research. His articles have been published in several medical journals, including multiple papers on understanding cancer metastasis and circulating tumor cells.
