Chuck Clark got his first career regular-season interception Sunday when the Baltimore Ravens took on the Kansas City Chiefs.
In his second regular-season start of his career, the former King’s Fork High School standout got his first career regular-season interception. During the third quarter at the 10:36 mark, pressure by the Ravens caused an errant throw, allowing Clark to grab the ball for the Ravens. The interception actually ended a seven-game streak in which Baltimore hadn’t recorded an interception.
Clark finished his second start of his career with four tackles and the team’s only interception of the game, even though the Ravens fell 27-24 in an overtime thriller. In the last two games, Clark has made the most of his opportunities as he fills in for an injured first-string player.
The Ravens will face off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday. It is possible Clark could be in line for his third consecutive start for his career. With only three games left in the regular season, everything counts for the Ravens. They are trying to make a playoff push.
