To the editor:

These days we are often hearing sad news, but we want to share some good news. We have a wonderful neighbor who has brought us the paper each day for more than two years. His name is Steve Cobb.

Why is this good news important? John and I have been under the weather and confined to the house for the last two years. We really enjoy reading the paper to keep informed about our community and the world, and Steve has taken his time each day to bring the paper to us.

There is so much goodness and caring in this world that gets overlooked. We not only wanted to thank Steve, but by doing so, we wanted to show that people care and show kindness all the time in the little things they do for others.

During this season of thanksgiving, we thank you, Steve, for all you have done for us. We always appreciate it.
