Bertha R. Gibson, 79, of Nero Drive, Portsmouth, transitioned Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, at Maryview Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at First Baptist Church South Hill. She will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
