Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Antonio Vaughan, senior, Lakeland High School football: Vaughan had an interception return for a touchdown to go along with two sacks and a fumble recovery in the Cavs’ win over the Bulldogs.

Quijoun Gordon, senior, Nansemond River High School football: Gordon had two touchdowns and two interceptions in the Warriors’ win over Western Branch High School.
