The Lady Cavs took down Hopewell Thursday evening after defeating the Lady Bulldogs Wednesday.

The Lakeland High School field hockey team continues to roll after the 9-0 home win over Hopewell. Lakeland scored more than six points in each of their two games for the week, outscoring their opponents 16-1.

Darcy Kilgore led with a hat trick. Michela Brown-Mayfield followed with two goals. Sydney Beale, Sarah Stansick, Makayla Snyder and Brooke Mills all added a goal each. Lakeland will close out the regular season winning six of their last seven games.
