The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy football teams came in at No. 5 in this week’s Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association poll.

The Lady Saints volleyball team is 14-5 on the season. NSA still has time to move up, which will set up a likely postseason run.

NSA has lost to a couple of schools ranked in front of them. However, the regular season still has two full weeks before conference tournaments, and the postseason starts Oct. 30. NSA will take on Cape Henry on the road at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
