Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

George Pettaway, sophomore, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy football: Pettaway rushed for 194 yards and added three touchdowns in the Saints’ win over Christchurch School.

Landon Martino, junior, King’s Fork High School golf: Martino was the medalist with a score of 85 in the Bulldogs’ win over Lakeland High School.
