Schools remain closed Friday

Suffolk Public Schools will be closed on Friday, Sept. 14 because of Hurricane Florence.
“While the track of Hurricane Florence has turned south, Hampton Roads is still expected to be impacted by wind, rain, and flooding. The Governor’s mandatory evacuation of Zone A remains in effect, and many Suffolk families have left the area,” the School Division posted on their Facebook.
The school division will make a decision about Monday, Sept. 17 but Sunday, according to the Facebook post.
