The King’s Fork High School field hockey team has won its first two games of the season.
The Lady Bulldogs are currently 2-0 after defeating both Indian River High School and Churchland High School at home. They defeated Indian River 4-1 Wednesday and defeated Churchland 6-0 Thursday evening.
Brielle Little, Isabella Gay and Megan Bailey were able to do some good things against Indian River. Anaya Godfrey and Veda Goss contributed as well. The whole team was able to mix in and contribute in some way in the win over Churchland.
“I was really excited to see our passing combinations come together across the field and just watch the girls play with urgency,” Coach Ashley Skinner said. “I am very excited about what they are going to be able to do going into our game against Wilson.”
King’s Fork will face Wilson at home at 5 p.m. Monday.
