The Suffolk Redevelopment & Housing Authority is soliciting new landlords, property owners and property management companies for participation in the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8).

This program affords eligible families housing assistance and participating property owners and agents a steady, dependable income stream, yearly inspections and support, according to a press release from the SRHA.

An informational conference for interested landlords, property owners and property management companies will be held at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. June 28 at the office at 530 E. Pinner St. A meal will be served, and authority staff will explain the program and address questions or concerns.

Mahalia Dryden-Mason of the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation Virginia Fair Housing Office will also be on hand.
