H.O. Wolding, a short, regional and long-haul trucking firm based in Amherst, Wis., has announced the induction of Barry Morgan, of Suffolk, into its Safe Driving Club for attaining one million consecutive miles of accident-free driving.
Recognition as a Safe Driving Club member at H.O. Wolding requires the accumulation of a minimum of one million consecutive miles of accident-free driving.
In addition to Morgan, 46 other H.O. Wolding drivers from across the United States have been inducted into its Safe Driving Club.
According to Marc Wolding, director of operations at H.O. Wolding, accumulating a million or more consecutive accident-free miles is an outstanding driving accomplishment.
“Each day, the operation of a truck presents all kinds of challenges, which include everything from the weather to driving a vehicle on busy highways and streets in and around other vehicles,” Wolding said. “As a company, we are proud to recognize these drivers for achieving one million or more accident-free miles. Each day they bring an exceptional level of dedication and professionalism to their work that results in keeping our roads safe while also meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations.”
