The King’s Fork High School softball team defeated Lakeland High School 9-0 on the road Friday evening.

The King’s Fork softball team completed the season series against Lakeland going 2-0 against them in the two games they have played. The Lady Bulldogs got out to a 4-0 lead after the first inning.

Cali Hinnant pitched well in the Lady Bulldogs’ win, striking out 10 batters and only giving up three hits. Baxley Lockhart went 3-4 with two RBIs and two runs for King’s Fork.

Both teams will be gearing up for the postseason to start next week.
