The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy softball team took its second loss of the season to Greenbrier Christian Academy Friday evening.
The Lady Saints fell in the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools Conference Championship, held at Norfolk Academy, on Friday evening.
The first game this season resulted in a 6-2 win for Greenbrier, and Friday’s matchup was a 11-10 win for GCA. Greenbrier took an 8-0 lead over NSA in the third inning, but NSA chipped away at the lead with big fifth and seventh innings. However, their comeback attempt fell short.
