Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Abby Herrod, senior, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy soccer: Herrod scored four goals in a win over Walsingham Academy.

Mason Brown, senior, King’s Fork High School baseball: Brown struck out nine and allowed one hit in the Bulldogs’ win over Deep Creek High School.

Hannah Ramey, senior, Nansemond River High School tennis: Ramey won all of her singles and doubles matches against rivals Lakeland High School and King’s Fork High School.
