Saints down Walsingham for sixth straight

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy baseball team hosted Walsingham Academy Thursday afternoon for its sixth straight win.
They defeated Walsingham 4-2 in a comeback effort. After being down 2-0 going into the sixth inning, the Saints put up four scores to take the lead and win the game. They scored all of their runs in the sixth inning with two outs.
Caden Anselm and Kieran Conway handled pitching duties for the Saints, and Anselm was credited for the win as he pitched six innings and struck out seven batters. Anselm is 4-1 on the season. Seth Townsend went 3-4 with a run for the Saints. NSA is now 9-6 on the season.
NSA will face Portsmouth Christian School at home at 1 p.m. Saturday. That game will also be senior day for the Saints seniors.
