Lakeland can’t overcome Hopewell

The Lakeland High School baseball team took a 3-0 loss to Hopewell High School at home on Friday evening.
The Cavs have been searching for a few wins this season but have yet to find one. The Cavs swung their bats well with eight hits but were unable to register a run or an RBI.
Josh Bennett went 3-3 while Tyler Spencer went 2-4. Spencer and Andrew Kelley handled pitching duties, with Kelley taking the loss.
Lakeland will face Deep Creek High School on the road at 5:30 p.m. Monday.
