BayPort names two regional branch managers

BayPort Credit Union recently announced it has added two regional branch managers to its network in the Hampton Roads area.
Tami Atkins brings 34 years of credit union experience for her new post and will be overseeing the Peninsula region. Sherri Lilley-Peck has more than 33 years of experience in the financial industry and will be managing the Southside region.
A lifelong resident on the Peninsula, Atkins graduated from Hampton High School. She holds numerous credit union certifications and has been a manager at BayPort’s Fox Hill branch since its opening in 2013. She graduated from Southeast Regional Credit Union School in 2000 and also received a certificate for completing the Mapother College of Collections in Louisville, Ky. She volunteers for BayPort’s Alzheimer’s Walk team as co-captain and is an active member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Hampton. She is a proud U.S. Coast Guard “Coastie Mom” and is married with two adult children and four grandchildren.
Lilley-Peck has served in the past as assistant vice president, branch manager and loan officer for several major financial centers in the Tidewater area. She began her career with BayPort Credit Union in September 2011 as the branch manager of the Chesapeake Square location. She grew up in the Western Branch area, graduated from Churchland High School, and now resides in Smithfield. Lilley-Peck received her bachelor’s degree with a minor in computer science from Old Dominion University. She is a graduate of the Chamber of Commerce Isle of Wight Leadership program and prides herself on providing exceptional member service. In her spare time, she enjoys showing her Flat Coated Retrievers.
