Run raises more than $20,000 for cancer patients

Bon Secours Hampton Roads recently announced that the 2018 Bon Secours Colon Cancer 5K and 1-Mile Walk raised more than $20,000 to help local colon cancer patients.
The eighth annual Bon Secours Colon Cancer 5K and 1-Mile Walk was held on March 24 at Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View. About 223 runners registered for the 5K, while 84 people registered for the 1-Mile Walk.
Proceeds were donated to the cancer funds for Bon Secours DePaul Health Foundation and the Bon Secours Maryview Foundation to provide care for colon cancer patients.
