King’s Fork cruises past Lady Warriors

The Lady Bulldogs completed their series against the rival Lady Warriors with two big wins.
Last time these two teams met, Lady Bulldogs standout Nylah Young scored a career high of 40 points. This time around, Young went for only 19 and 11 rebounds, but the Lady Bulldogs grabbed a big 77-35 win over the Lady Warriors. Camary Harris scored 12 points with 10 steals, seven assists and six rebounds in an all-around effort.
King’s Fork High School had three players in double figures while only holding one player for the Warriors to double-figures. King’s Fork will go on the road to face their other rival Lakeland High School Tuesday at 7 p.m. Nansemond River will host Hickory High School Tuesday at 7 p.m.
