TowneBank has announced the promotion of Erin D. Young to vice president. She is the branch manager of the Harbour View Financial Center office in Suffolk.

Young has been a member of the Towne Family for more than nine years. She is a graduate of James Madison University and TowneBank’s Management Associate program.

Active in the community, Young is a board member for Healthy Suffolk and on the Development Advisory Committee at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy. Additionally, she was a 2012 participant in Suffolk’s Leadership Academy.

With total assets of $8.61 billion as of Sept. 30, 2017, TowneBank is one of the largest banks headquartered in Virginia.
