New Italian restaurant comes to Eagle Harbor

Quality Italian food will soon be available to Eagle Harbor residents.
Napoli e’ Ristorante Italiano is expected to open by the end of February at 13609 Carrollton Blvd., according to owner Massimo “Max” Errico. The space was formerly occupied by Virginia BBQ.
The 1,300-square-foot space is a dream come true for Errico, who came to the United States from Naples, Italy, with his wife in 2003. They have since had two sons, Alessandro and Marco.
The 47-year-old chef said he’s been cooking since he was 15 years old and has always wanted his own restaurant.
“This is why we moved to the United States,” he said. “I’ve been working for others for 30 years, and now I’m finally opening my own business.”
The location is just minutes from the family’s residence in Smithfield, with plenty of traffic from Route 17 near the James River Bridge and regular Eagle Harbor diners.
He decided on this location in October after looking throughout Suffolk, Virginia Beach and Norfolk. He said he’s built a reputation for his “real Italian,” made-from-scratch recipes and is ready to serve the food that’s made him popular among diners previously.
“Everybody knows me, and can’t wait for my restaurant,” he said.
Napoli e’ Ristorante Italiano will be open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Search “13609 Carrollton Napoli e’. Ristorante Italiano” on Facebook for more information.
