The family of Floyd E. “Floyd/Punchy Jr.” Miller III acknowledges his earthly transition on Jan. 10, 2018, in Tampa, Fla. Floyd was a Suffolk and Portsmouth native who matriculated at Manor High School and Virginia State University.

Floyd is survived by a host of extended family, friends, colleagues and members of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. He will be truly missed by his wife, Iv’or, and daughter, La’Donza; parents, Dr. Floyd Miller Jr. and Jacquelyn Boone-Miller; brother, Kelly J. Miller (Deborah); nephews, Kelly Jr. and Kyle; aunts, Vivian M. Short, Carol Boone-Thompson; Kathryn Boone; uncles, W. Ross Boone and Phillip B. Boone (Hattie).

A celebration of life service and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at the J.T. Fisher Funeral Home, 1248 George Washington Highway, Chesapeake.
