Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Jeremiah Lewis, junior, Nansemond River High School basketball: Lewis had 19 points and 12 rebounds in the Warriors’ win over Lakeland High School.
• Kayla Barnes, senior, Lakeland High School basketball: Barnes led the Lady Cavs in scoring in all three of their holiday tournament games.
• James Hatton, senior, King’s Fork High School basketball: Hatton scored 15 points in the Bulldogs’ game against Armstrong High School.
