Police investigate stabbing

Suffolk police are investigating a stabbing that allegedly occurred Wednesday afternoon.
The stabbing was reported at 4 p.m. after a man arrived at Sentara Obici Hospital with stab wounds that were not considered life-threatening, according to a city press release.
The stabbing reportedly occurred in the 3500 block of Godwin Boulevard.
The investigation is in the preliminary stages, according to the press release. No additional information is currently being released.
