Sherese Bunkley of Gainesville, Fla., has received her advanced clinical practice degree from Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky. Bunkley graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing degree with a family nurse practitioner specialty.
“We are so proud of our new graduates who will join thousands of other FNU nurse-midwives and nurse practitioners across the world who are delivering care to deserving families,” Dr. Susan Stone, FNU president, stated in a press release.
Bunkley, a registered nurse for 18 years, worked since 2012 for Bon Secours Hampton Roads Medical Group as a registered nurse navigator. The Bunkley family relocated to the area when her husband, retired Master Sgt. William Bunkley, received orders to serve at his last duty station Joint Base Langley-Eustis.
They settled in North Suffolk and have three children, Caleb, 15, Janaiya, 12, and Micah, 7.
